IMT AG and Axxos AG join forces to further develop the IMT Academy

IMT AG is pleased to announce the establishment of a strategic partnership with Axxos AG. This cooperation marks a significant milestone in the further development of the “IMT Academy”, which was launched in 2024 and specializes in the further education and training of specialists in the fields of medical technology, regulatory affairs and quality management.

IMT, with a particular focus on the development of medical technology, is contributing its extensive expertise in the areas of product development, engineering, regulatory affairs and quality management to this cooperation. With its in-depth knowledge in the development and approval of active electronic medical devices, IMT AG is decisively strengthening the “IMT Academy”.

Axxos AG, a highly specialized consulting service provider in the medical technology sector, expands the portfolio of the IMT Academy with its many years of experience in the approval of medical devices, the development and implementation of quality management systems according to ISO and FDA standards, validation support in all production processes and the preparation and support of regulatory and FDA inspections. Specifically, Axxos AG contributes its experience as a lecturer in private and public institutions. The broad methodological and didactic knowledge turns training courses into exciting learning experiences. With its close proximity to the EU authorized representative Axxos GmbH (D) and to Swiss AR Services AG as one of the larger CH Rep's, Axxos AG brings additional valuable expertise to the partnership

The aim of this cooperation is to further strengthen the IMT Academy and to offer courses and workshops in the areas of quality management (QM), regulatory affairs (RA), risk management and other topics relevant to medical device manufacturers at the highest professional level. Through the intensive exchange of expertise and resources as well as the use of joint synergies, the training courses will be further optimized in order to offer participants practical, exciting and up-to-date content.

The partnership makes it possible to develop innovative teaching methods and continuously adapt the training content to the latest regulatory requirements and technological developments. Participants benefit directly from the combined expertise of both companies, which increases the quality of training and sustainably boosts the competitiveness of participants in the medical technology sector.

This cooperation between IMT AG and Axxos AG will not only enrich the IMT Academy, but will also make a decisive contribution to the quality and safety of medical devices by passing on valuable knowledge - for the benefit of end users and patients.
